Essay

The object of the research is the propagation process of electromagnetic waves in the wire media with various spatial configurations of elements and unit cell dimensions. The goal of the research is the determination of features influence of the spatial arrangement elements, such as the shape of the unit cell, on the spectral properties of anisotropic wire metamaterials. The development of operating principles for controlling the spectral characteristics of anisotropic wire metamaterials by mechanical resizing of their elementary unit cells, which will increase the frequency range of tuning in the microwave wavelength range. Experimental results performed by the investigation of the spectral electromagnetic properties of anisotropic wire metamaterials in the millimeter wavelength range were obtained using microwave spectroscopy methods.
