Posokhova A. Verbal Means of Creating Professional Context in Fiction: Linguo-Cognitive and Linguo-Stylistic Aspects (Based on the Novel “Airport”by A. Hailey)

The research deals with the analysis of the linguo-stylistic means of the professional context verbalization in a literary work within the framework of the cognitive-discursive paradigm. Verbal markers of contextualization of the professional context function as effective means of reconstructing the specific institutional environment in the business novel; they are productive means of actualizing the spacial, temporal, and anthropological factors that determine the complicated relationships among the characters in the professional world of the novel. Terminological lexis makes up the major part of the lexical basis of contextualization markers. In the stylistically marked context of the literary novel neutral terms attain stylistic coloring.
