Essay

Object - structural steel, conditions of stress-corrosion fracture; aim - functional reservation of the load capacity of structural steel based on signs of corrosion protection, development of methods of risk-diagnostics of corrosive structures; methods - the process approach, system analysis, modern methods of mathematical statistics, theory of reliability and risk management, fracture mechanics and strength of materials, diagnostics and technical regulation of quality and safety, regularity of corrosion processes were used for scientific research;experience of engineering survey was used, including experimental methods for determining quantitative characteristics of defects and damages, static loading tests, accelerated laboratory corrosion tests, calculations were made based on conditions of the limit state method, numerical simulation was made of the stress-strain state of structures and installations using the finite element method; novelty - novelty is stipulated by defining the statement of direct and inverse problem of risk analysis of measures of primary and secondary corrosion protection for reserving the load capacity, as well as by developing a mathematical apparatus for method of limit states and management of process safety risks based on HAZOP to justify service life when extending residual life of structural steel; results - scientific justification was developed for increasing reliability of structural steel as a method of time reservation of the load capacity, with account for functional determination of serviceability of elements of corrosion protection system; interval values of parameters of stress-corrosion fracture of structural elements were adapted to assignments of assessing corrosion hazard; requirements were set for maintaining and repairing structures when realizing the process approach to ensure serviceability of means and methods of corrosion protection based on corrosion protection level; field - construction and upkeep of buildings and installations, corrosion protection in building industry.
