Essay

The object of the research is the interaction of the electromagnetic field with liquid dielectrics in whispering gallery mode (WGM) dielectric resonators. The goal of the research is the obtaining of the response of the WGM resonator with dielectric liquids and the realization of the measurement cell for obtaining of the complex permittivity of lossy liquids in small. Resonator characteristics are obtained by the frequency response curve and by the model in Comsol MULTIPHYSICS, where the Maxwell equations are solved by the finite element method. The measurement cells are realized on the base of the radially-two-layered resonator and the resonator with the microfluidic channel and the complex permittivities of the chain of biological liquids in Ka-band and sub-THz band. The application area is radiophysics.
