Theoretical bases of financial and legal provision of local self-government in Ukraine and the practice of their implementation have been researched in the dissertation. The author has provided own concepts of: "financial and legal provision of local self-government", "budget of the territorial community" and has clarified the features of the powers of the territorial community within local self-government as participants of financial legal relations. The types of financial legal relations at the local self-government level have been determined. The main principles of financial and legal provision of local self-government have been defined.
