The thesis is devoted to comprehensive and thorough analysis of the problems of legal regulation of labour activity of law enforcement officers. The essence and signs of labour activity of law enforcement officers are found out in the work. The stages of genesis of legal regulation of labour activity of law enforcement officers are described. The purpose, tasks and functions of legal regulation of labour activity of law enforcement officers are explored. The content of the system of principles of legal regulation of labour activity of law enforcement officers is analyzed. The problems of the current state of legal regulation of labour activity of law enforcement officers and the proposals on their solution are given. A positive foreign experience of legal regulation of labour activity of law enforcement officers is found out, directions of its borrowing to Ukraine are outlined.
