Kurylo T. Аdministrative and Legal Background for Corruption Prevention in Notarial Service in Ukraine

Thesis presents general and methodological approaches to understanding of corruption phenomenon in the notarial service area along with the characteristics of administrative liability concept as one of the key counteracting mechanisms. Author has studied the preconditions for anti-corruption restrictions and sanctions imposition within the notarial service area and analyzed the genesis of scientific interpretations regarding administrative and legal regulation of corruption counteracting in the abovementioned sector. Author has defined the determinants which indicate the level of corruption in notarial service area. Character and specificities of corruption in notarial service area has been outlined and presented as basis for administrative and legal counteracting measures formulation. Features shaping the understanding of level, scope and specificity of corruption in notarial service area have been analyzed. List of corruptibility negative consequences is specified along with key types of corrupt practices in notarial service area and efficient counteracting tools.
