Essay

Object:written documents on the history of cultural activity of Ukrainian emigration. The article deals with historiography on the subject of research. Source criticism of sources was made, documents on the activities of Ukrainian emigration to preserve archival and museum heritage were previously analyzed and introduced into scientific circulation. The epistemological value and information potential of the mentioned sources are determined, the degree of their authenticity has been investigated, the gaps in the source complex from the history of the activity of Ukrainian emigration have been established to preserve the archival and museum heritage, the significance of the non-actualized sources for the further study of the problem is outlined.
