Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving scientific and applied tasks of forming automobile transport enterprises' strategies in single intercity freight orders service. The research object is is the servicing process of the automobile transport company of a single intercity freight orders service. Scientific novelty of the results is as follows. For the first time the criterion of the carrier's performance, who provides single intercity freight orders service, which takes into account not only the cost but also the time costs for evaluating the result of the carrier's activities has been justified. For the first time it has been established and experimentally proved the regularities of single orders flow for freight transportation in the intercity, which consist in the Poisson character of their receipt. The model of intercity freight transportation has been improved by determining the number of carriers applying for an order. Approaches to the strategic management of the activities of automobile transport enterprises that provide freight transportation services, through the distribution of directions of transportation on the attractiveness of the prospects for obtaining the next load have been developed further. In the paper, the pro-cess of the single intercity freight orders servicing is formalized, on its basis the objective effi-ciency criterion of the process is formed. The efficiency criterion takes into account not only the financial performance of the enterprise, but also the time costs for achieving financial results. As a result of the single intercity freight orders receipt process investigation was established and experimentally proved that the input flow of single orders response to Poisson flow. On the basis of the study of the nature of single orders origin and the conditions for their receipt for different settlements, three strategies of the carrier's behavior for the single orders freight transportations servicing are formed. Such strategies are a strict, a selective and an indifferent ones. Formed carriers' strategies for servicing of single intercity freight orders are based on the division of transportation directions according to their attractiveness with respect to prospects of obtaining the next order and the maximum allowable delivery distance for the truck loading. The practical significance of the work results is confirmed by the received implementation acts of the recommendations developed in the dissertation on the use of the formed strategies in single intercity freight orders service from LLC "Express" and PE "Furbi-Trans". The practical significance of the results of work is confirmed by the received acts of implementation of the dissertation developments in the field of single intercity freight orders servicing into the educational process of KhNAHU, into the production process of LLC "Express", PE "Furby-Trans", in the research process of the SE "Derzhdor RDE", State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine.
