Essay

Object of research: the process of interaction between state and business. The purpose: substantiation of theoretical bases of mechanisms of interaction of the state and business, and also definition of directions of their perfection in interests of development and increase of competitiveness of regions. Methods: logical, dialectical, method of generalization, complex and systemic approaches, economic and statistical; methods of observation, comparison, analysis and synthesis, methods of an integrated approach, program-target, induction and deduction, abstraction. Results: theoretical bases are developed and directions of practical realization of mechanisms of interaction of the state and business at a regional level are proved. Novelty: a list of indicators for assessing the functioning of the legal, financial, economic and administrative, organizational and infrastructure, information and communication mechanisms for interaction between the state and business was developed; the theoretical bases of formation of the system of interaction of the state and business in the economic system of the region on the basis of the concept of self-regulation are improved; the systematization of forms of interaction between state structures and private companies has been further developed; further developed analytical approach to the assessment of the current situation in the implementation of mechanisms for interaction between public and private organizations in Ukraine. Implemented in the Department of Competitiveness of the Regional State Administration, the Kharkov Regional Institute of Public Administration of the NAPA under the President of Ukraine. Areas of application: public authorities, local government and self-government bodies, public organizations.
