The thesis is devoted to establishing common and ethno-specific features of PhUAC that verbalize the concept HUMAN on the material of English, German, Ukrainian and Russian. It highlights the theoretical basis of the research of phraseological units with anthropic component (PhUAC) in the comparative aspect; defines methodological principles of the PhUAC analysis, and develops complex methods of their research in the comparative aspect; identifies linguistic and cognitive features of PhUAC in the West Germanic and East Slavic languages; models the frame-schema of the conceptual space of the HUMAN in the semantics of PhUAC in the languages under investigation
