Essay

Object - features of microbial colonization of the oral mucosa of patients after dental implantation; influence on microorganisms of a given biotope of antimicrobial agents; aim – to improve the effectiveness of prophylaxis and treatment of infectious and inflammatory complications of odontoimplantation by microbiological substantiation of the use of antiseptic drugs; methods – informational-analytical, microbiological, clinical, biochemical, laboratory, statistical analysis; results – new data are presented on the etiological structure and biological properties of pathogens of infec-tious-inflammatory complications after odontoimplantation; the opportunistic Gram-positive microorganisms, including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Kocuria spp., Enterococcus spp. have been established to be the dominant pathogens of peri-implant mucositis (PIM) and peri-implantitis (PI); in the research there was conducted a detailed study of the sensitivity in the dominant pathogens of PIM and PI to the main antibiotics and new data were obtained; for the first time there was proved the antimicrobial efficacy of decasan, horosten against Staphylococci, Streptococci, nonfermenting gram-negative bacteria, which colonized the oral cavity under postoperative complications of dental implantation; the new data of the influence of antiseptic drugs (decasan, horosten, chlorhexidine) on the processes of film formation and adhesion of pathogens of infectious and inflammatory complications of odontoimplantation have been obtained; for the first time the high efficiency of decasan and horosten suppression of adhesion of etiologically significant pathogens of PIM and PI has been proved; for the first time the interrelation between the processes of bacterial film formation and adhesion in microorganisms, colonizing the mucous membranes in the area of dental implantation in patients, has been determined; for the first time the expediency of using of antiseptics as decasan and horosten has been substantiated for the prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory complications of odontoimplantation; branch – medicine.
