In the dissertation work, the actual task of forecasting the quality of the editorial and publishing process is investigated, which is concluded in the synthesis of the structural and functional model of the information technology of the subject domain.The stages of the editorial and publishing process are analyzed, two components are identified: the formation and structuring of book editions. A number of factors and semantic networks of connections between them are formed. Synthesized and optimized models of priority influence of factors. Optimum variants of realization of researched processes are determined. Integral indicators of the quality of process implementation are calculated. A structurally-functional model of information technology for predicting the quality of the editorial and publishing process was developed.
