The scientific work is devoted to the improvement of the effectiveness of prevention and treatment of NSAID-induced disorders of the gastroduodenal zone by the implementation of a personified approach to a comprehensive investigation of clinical, endoscopic and functional features of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug-induced gastropathy. It has been established the correlation between the level of H. pylori infection and gastric motility function and the degree of severity of NSAID-induced gastropathy. The frequency of genetic polymorphism of isoenzymes CYP2C19 and CYP2C9 in patients with NSAID-induced gastropathy has been analyzed. The efficiency of cytoprotective drug rebamipide in the treatment of NSAID-induced gastropathy has been proved.
