Essay

The object of the research is a complex of written sources on the history of Ostarbeiters. The subject is the process of formation and expansion of the source database on the history of the fourced laborers of the Donetsk region, which includes legal documents and documents of management and report keeping of German and Soviet origin, periodical press and sources of personal origin, determination of their reliability, informative possibilities and patterns of reflection of the historical phenomena. The purpose of the dissertation work is to identify and analyze a complex of sources on the history of Ostarbeiters from the Donetsk region.
