Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the experimental and theoretical investigation of complex stress-strain state of span reinforced concrete structures considering the torque action. The study of the influence of constructive factors and the mentioned factor of external impact onto their crack resistance, deformability and strength; discovery of new destruction schemes of these structures on complex spatial sections and their dependence on the corresponding ratio of research factors; working out of a new engineering method for calculating the spatial sections strength of beam structures at their bending with torsion; development of a nonlinear deformation model of the reinforced concrete structure, which allows to take into account the peculiarities of concrete and reinforcement monolithic behavior at all stages, including destruction under the simultaneous action of transverse force, bending moment and torque; experimental verification of possibility and conditions for applying the most common calculation methods to check the spatial sections strength of investigated elements; modeling of complex stress-strain state of the above-mentioned structures by means of nonlinear finite element calculations using the modern software, introduction of research results into construction practice and educational process of higher education institutions with a building profile. Keywords: span (beam) reinforced concrete structures, stress-strain state, spatial oblique sections, load-bearing capacity, calculation models.
