Essay

Social and cultural aspects of business management at the stage of development strategy and organizational conditions intercultural interaction are characterized. Scientific views on the nature and function of cross-cultural management in the enterprise development strategies are systematized; the own definition of its essence is proposed: a set of tools and technology management organizational interaction in a multicultural environment to ensure the best results in the realization of common objectives. The tasks of cross-cultural management in the context of realization of development objectives are outlined and it is argued that their solution requires the formation of a motivated field of cross-cultural interaction and the development of the motivational potential of organizational culture. The author's definition of these definitions is formed. The advantages and disadvantages of the joint venture as an organizational and legal form of management and taking into account the experience of doing business in this form in Ukraine are outlined. In the context of the selected set of joint machine-building enterprises, an analysis of the strategic intentions of Ukrainian participants compared with the actual results of the implementation of this strategic choice was made. The analysis showed that most of them sought to partner with positive market experience, but in fact they only functioned as production applications to business systems of foreign partners that did not allow them to accumulate resources for development and did not create conditions for making qualitative changes in their activities. To investigate the influence of intercultural differences on the activities of joint ventures, a sociological survey was conducted at the Ukrainian-German enterprise "Prettl-Kabel Ukraine". The results of the survey formed the basis for the formation of a set of scientific and methodological and practical recommendations in the field of implementation of tools and technologies of cross-cultural management in the practice of managing the implementation of the strategy for the development of multinational engineering enterprises. Based on the theory of competitive advantages of M. Porter, the features of external and internal organizational interaction in the context of the international enterprise are outlined and it is proved that the increase of the efficiency of this interaction can become an additional source of the formation of competitive advantages of such enterprise. Areas of implementation of technologies and tools of cross-cultural management in the processes of realization of the strategy of development of such enterprise are defined and scientific and methodical recommendations for organizational support of development of the enterprise according to the concept of "diversity management" are formed. A model for evaluating the "cultural gap" in the work of the multicultural group was developed, on its basis scientific and practical recommendations for managing the effectiveness of organizational interaction in such groups were made and their approbation on one of the investigated joint ventures was conducted. Cross-cultural aspects are pointed out in the complex of purposes of the development of organizational culture and the directions of influence of organizational culture on the efficiency of enterprise management are outlined. The scope of fuzzy logic methods application for the assessment of the conformity degree of the organizational culture's motivational potential to the objectives of the development of a multinational enterprise has been expanded.
