Irynevych Y. Statistical estimation of the youth labor market in Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the further development of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the youth labor market's functioning, statistical evaluation. The conceptual procedures of labor market statistics have been improved and a theoretical substantiation of the concept's "youth labor market" as the subject for statistical analysis has been obtained. The classification of the main factors that have a substantial influence on youth labor market functioning has been developed. The system of statistical indicators of youth labor market functioning also has been improved. A statistical evaluation of the influence of the structure of young people's age on the level of economic activity, employment and unemployment has been carried out. The method of cluster analysis concerning allocation of homogeneous territories on the basic indicators of youth labor market functioning has been adapted. The methodical approaches of rating estimation of country's regions by the condition and development of a youth labor market are offered. The use of forecasting methods by the main indicators of youth labor market functioning in the short term has been scientifically substantiated.
