The object of the research is the process of management of intellectual capital of industrial enterprises. The subject of the research is the theoretical positions and scientific and methodical principles of management of intellectual capital of engineering enterprises. The purpose of the dissertation work is to deepen the theoretical positions, to substantiate and improve the scientific and methodological principles and to develop scientific and practical recommendations regarding the mechanism of management of intellectual capital of industrial enterprises (in case of engineering enterprises). The methods of research are: morphological analysis, monographic method; method of analysis and synthesis; statistical analysis; method of systematization; classification-structural method, economic-mathematical modeling; system analysis; methods of system dynamics; abstract-logical approach. The methodical approach to assessing the level of intellectual capital engineering enterprises; elements of the system of management of intellectual capital of engineering enterprises; mechanism of management of intellectual capital of engineering enterprises; organizational and informational support of the mechanism of management of intellectual capital of engineering enterprises; scientific and practical approach to implementation of the mechanism of management of intellectual capital at engineering enterprises have been improved. The concept of "intellectual capital of an industrial enterprise" and its structure in the context of production informatization; the basic principles of the system of management of intellectual capital of industrial enterprises; the tools of the system of express-assessment of the intellectual capital of enterprises and express-management of it by means of modern information technologies on the basis of analysis of the state and role of engineering in the structure of industry of Ukraine have been further development.
