Batiuk A. State Regulation of Youth Labor Market in Ukraine

The thesis resolves a pressing scientific task which consists in a theoretical substantiation and elaboration of practical recommendations as to improvement of the state regulation of the youth labor market in Ukraine. A misbalance in the youth labor market impedes achievement of a complete and productive employment of young people. Under the current conditions, balancing the labor market and developing the youth labor potential are impossible without an effective state regulation, which would solve the problems of youth employment in a complex and timely manner. The methods of the state regulation of the youth labor market existing in Ukraine do not fully take into account the characteristic features of this age categories and the specificity of regional labor markets. In this respect, in Ukraine the priority is assigned to formation of a complex mechanism of the state regulation of the youth labor market, which will provide professional self-identification and development of young people, realization of their labor potential, enhancement of the youth's motivation for highly productive labor.
