Essay

The object of the research is the process of scattering of radio waves and IR radiation by the earth's surface, and also by the sea surface in the presence of surfaceactive films of finite thickness. The goal of the research is the creation of methods and means of remote detection of flood lands, self-heating of peat bogs and monitoring of spills of surface-active substances on the sea surface. Methods of theoretical electrodynamics, statistical radio physics, mathematical statistics, hydrodynamics, and experimental methods were used. Aviation complex of remote sensing AKDZ-30, algorithms and methods of compensation of spatial distortions of raster radar and radiometric experimental data was created. The complex active-passive (radar + thermal IR + optical) method of remote detection and identification of zones of sub-surface soil overflow and sub-surface self-heating of organic substances in areas covered with vegetation has been developed. The method of estimation of parameters of oil pollution by the single-frequency multi-angle data satellite radar sensing with the account of results of modeling of oil spill is proposed.. Field of use: Applied Radiophysics, Economic and Environmental Activities, State Emergency Services.
