Lesnik O. Form factor and size-quality structure of Aesculus hippocastanum trees in stands of Kyiv city

The thesis is devoted to the study of stacked-volume ratio and size-quality structure of Aesculus hippocastanum trees in green stands of Kyiv and the development of the appropriate standards. An analysis of the features of network distribution of green forest in Kyiv city was done. The data of assortment of tree types of street plantings and the estimated degree of provision of Kyiv population by green plantations are given. The results of the study of stacked-volume ratio, connections of the basic forest evaluation indexes of Aesculus hippocastanum trees with the crown indexes, sizequalitaty tree structure, comparison of the developed standards with the existing analogues are shown. The mathematical models of the tree species number, tree volume, volume percentage of the tree trunk, size-quality categories of Aesculus hippocastanum trees were obtained. Non-category standards of volume and size-quality structure of Aesculus hippocastanum trees in green stands of Kyiv were developed.
