The thesis is devoted to the study of peculiarities of the course and effectiveness of etiopathogenetically based complex treatment in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in combination with hypertensive disease according to taste sensitivity to sodium chloride. It has been found that the majority of patients with NAFLD in combination with hypertensive disease have the decrease in taste sensitivity to sodium chloride. The investigation has revealed the dependence of trophological status, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, indicators of hemodynamics, total cardiovascular risk and quality of life on excessive sodium chloride intake. It has been proved that NAFLD in combination with hypertensive disease with low taste sensitivity to sodium chloride belong to the group with high cardiovascular risk. The deterioration of the quality of life in this category of patients has been noted. The research has found that the applied etiopathogenetic based complex treatment, which аn addition to the lifestyle modification and basic therapy including replacement of salt to a sodium low and potassium rich salt mixture and indapamide intake 1,5 mg / day in the morning in patients with NAFLD in combination with hypertensive disease with low taste sensitivity to sodium chloride contributed to a possible improvement in the trophological status, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism indices, increase sensitivity to sodium chloride, improvement of hemodynamic indices and quality of life and decrease the cardiovascular risk.
