The dissertation is dedicated to the scientific motivation of the theoretical and methodical approaches, theoretical and practical recommendations working-out as for Ukrainian mechanical engineering industry's innovation development amid European integration. The meaning of the “mechanical engineering's innovation development” category is emendated. Factors` classification based on the criterion of scale and environmental strong effect on the mechanical engineering's innovation development is proposed. Index approach to the national mechanical engineering's innovation development assessment is improved A conceptual model of the industrial policy for mechanical engineering's innovation development is formed. An integral evaluation of the dynamics level of Ukrainian mechanical engineering's innovation development is based on the general index worked out by the author. The approach to the estimation of the European integration influence on the mechanical engineering's innovation development is proposed. Influence of environmental factors on the innovative products` sales volumes is revealed. Factors accelerating the development of the mechanical engineering industry of Ukraine are selected. The methodical approach to the formation of the industrial policy for mechanical engineering's innovative development is created. Its implementation gives an opportunity to specify approaches and measures for each sub-sector taking into account the impact of industry, national and European integration environment. The model of mechanical engineering innovative products volumes forecasting on the basis of the neoclassical production function is improved. The methodical approach to the formation of strategic directions of mechanical engineering funding is altered. The approach to the prospects of Ukrainian aircraft industry development estimation amid reorientation of markets and international cooperation on the basis of expert analysis and ranking is proposed.
