Essay

This research covers relevant problems of signal-code constructions usage in modern telecommunication systems from the point of maximum utilization of communication channel resources. The aim of the research is signal-code construction generation, which maximize the performance of the communication channel to its bandwidth and provide required reliability. Author proposes a method of determining of required correcting ability of redundant code at the given reliability requirements and the specified block length, code efficiency assessment method by the criteria of maximum approach to the Shannon border, a comparison method of properties of block, convolutional and concatenated codes by the criteria of equivalent correcting ability; this research identifies energy bounds evaluation of different types of error-correcting codes usage; the study provides a methodology of synthesis of signal-code constructions by the criteria of productivity maximum approach to the channel throughput.
