Gorodnycha K. Models and methods for processing chronological data in information retrieval systems under uncertainty

The thesis is devoted to the problems, the reduction of the volume of the chronological data (HD) description in databases and the increase in the completeness of the query result during the search operation, through the formalized formation of models and methods for processing HD. The model of the representation of HD, based on the allocation of types of HD and types of descriptions of HD, has been further developed. The model of the formation of the query, which takes into account the quantitative characteristics of relevance, uncertainty and degree of nonconformity, has been proposed for the first time. The methods for comparing and searching objects that take into account preliminary analysis and conversion of HD, and use the developed logical comparison rules, have been further developed. The method of ordering objects by their HD, which performs this operation for HD, and with the use of the proposed quantitative indicators, has been proposed for the first time. The proposed models, methods and information retrieval systems allow to unify and reduce the volume of descriptions of HD in databases in the general case, and to increase the completeness of the query result
