Simonenko N. Investigation of rapes of past years

In the dissertation, based on the study of domestic and foreign legislation, literary sources, the results of the generalization of investigative, judicial practice and official statistics, a comprehensive research of rapes of past years has been conducted. The content of forensic characteristics of rapes of past years is revealed. The most effective procedural forms of interaction between the investigator and the operational units are outlined. The conditions, expediency and the procedure for the appointment and conduct of psychophysiological examination with the use of a polygraph regarding suspects and victims have been determined. It is proposed to supplement the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine by Art. 243-1 concerning the psychophysiological examination of persons using a polygraph. The algorithm of actions of the police officers during pre-trial investigation of rapes of past years was prepared.
