Holovachova A. Legal Regulation of Civil Servants’ Remuneration in Ukraine

The dissertation is a comprehensive study of theoretical and practical problems related to the legal regulation of civil servants’ remuneration in Ukraine. The scientific work formulates the definition «civil servants’ remuneration» and «salary of civil servants», the legal nature and the content of the rights of a civil servant for remuneration have been defined, characterized of the main functions of civil servants’ salaries. The legal regulation of civil servants’ remuneration is elucidated, the structure of civil servants’ salary has been clarified, the material component of the motivational mechanism of effective work of civil servants has been considered. The international standards of legal regulation of civil servants’ work and the positive foreign experience in the field studied has been defined and analyzed, proposals on the introduction of relevant norms in the Ukrainian legislation has been formulated.
