Khodak Y. Administrative and Legal Status of the Deposit Guarantee Fund.

The dissertation is focused on the systematic study of scientific and practical problems of administrative and legal status of the Deposit Guarantee Fund in Ukraine, as well as on the improvement of its legal regulation. The place of the Deposit Guarantee Fund within the guaranteeing system for individuals’ deposits has been determined. The legal principles regulating the activity of the Deposit Guarantee Fund have been analyzed. The tasks, functions and principles of the activity of the Deposit Guarantee Fund have been determined. The legal liability of officials and employees of the Deposit Guarantee Fund has been characterized. The author has generalized international experience of functioning of the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals and the possibility of its application in Ukraine. The author has determined the directions for improving the activity of the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
