Klochko I. Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine in the System of Subjects of Counteracting Corruption: Administrative and Legal Aspect

The concept and essence of administrative and legal principles of the activity of state authorities in combating corruption have been determined; the place and peculiarities of the prosecutor’s offices in the system of other subjects of combating corruption have been established. Legal principles for combating corruption in Ukraine have been characterized; and the place of administrative and legal regulation among them has been determined. The concept and structure of activity organization of the prosecutor’s office in regard to the counteraction to corruption have been revealed. The forms and methods of the prosecutor’s office activity on combating corruption have been generalized. Administrative and legal powers of the prosecutor’s offices in the field of combating corruption have been systematized. The main shortcomings of administrative legislation regulating the activity of the activity of the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine in the field of combating corruption have been revealed; and propositions for its improvement have been provided. International experience of administrative and legal regulation of the prosecutor’s office activity on combating corruption has been generalized; and the possibilities of its application for improving the relevant legislation of Ukraine have been determined. The ways of improving the interaction of the prosecutor’s offices with other subjects in combating corruption in Ukraine have been outlined.
