Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving an important scientific and practical task of improving the processes of formation and development of the innovation potential of the baking industry. In the course of the research the theoretical, practical and organizational issues of formation and development of innovation potential of baking industry are considered, factors of influence on innovation potential are investigated. As a result of the research, a set of recommendations for the formation of a multi-level socio-economic system for the development of the innovative potential of the baking industry was substantiated. The current state of the baking industry in Ukraine is estimated. The toolkit of an estimation of efficiency of formation of an innovative potential of the baking industry by means of a cluster analysis on ranks of manufacture of bakery products in the regions of Ukraine is analyzed. The strategic directions of improvement of the state regulation of baking industry of Ukraine in the context of development of its innovative potential are determined. The newest model of state regulation of the formation and development of the innovative potential of the baking industry of Ukraine, based on the complex interaction of the state, the subjects of the baking industry, agricultural producers and research institutions, is developed. The scientific approach to the construction and implementation of the algorithm of the mechanism of formation and development of the innovation potential of the baking industry in providing modernization of the national economy is substantiated.
