Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and practical principles of the digital hydroacoustic communication system development which is adapted to the conditions of the shallow sea. In the dissertation thesis a theoretical bases and a model which allow to simulate and give recommendations for design and realization of a coded hydroacoustic communication system are developed. The developed model of the hydroacoustic channel allows to predict the efficiency of the selected implementation of the coded hydroacoustic communication system, taking into account short broadband acoustic signals distortions caused by dispersion and inter-symbol interference during waveguide propagation. It is developed a method of dynamic adaptation to the channel conditions in the dissertation. This method reduces the effect of interference and dispersion and it is based on the spread spectrum signals with modulation of carrier frequency with a continuous function. The use of the developed method will significantly increase the reliability of the digital hydroacoustic communication system and expand the range of its use.
