Aleksandrova H. State regulation of the mechanism for ensuring the economic security of regions.

Object – process of forming the economic security of the regions of Ukraine, taking into account the interaction of components and instruments of state regulation. Goal – improve theoretical positions and develop practical recommendations for state regulation of the mechanism for ensuring economic security of regions as the main link in the formation of a stable and competitive economy of the state. Methods – terminological analysis, grouping, financial and economic and statistical analysis, the method of SWOT-analysis, index, logical-analytical, graphic. Novelty – improved: the scientific and methodical approach to assessing innovation security in the regions of Ukraine, based on the calculation of the appropriate coefficient as an integral indicator, combining factors - stimulants and factors - dissimulators; methodology and system for determining indicators of economic security assessment, which takes into account additional indicators and establishes a gradation of regional security by the level of the integral indicator; conceptual provisions for the formation of a mechanism for ensuring the economic security of the region; organizational structure of economic security management in the region, including the creation of information and analytical centers of regional state administrations; have been further developed: a theoretical approach to the formation of a system for managing the economic security of the region; approach to making forecasts, based on the calculation of a generalized integral index of economic security. Results – theoretical and methodological approaches have been improved and practical recommendations have been developed, both on the development of a strategy for improving the economic security of the regions, as well as on tactical measures for ensuring it and reducing the financial burden on local budgets.
