Essay

The dissertation is focused on systemic analysis of administrative and legal principles of carrying out the state control over the banks activities in Ukraine, as well as on the formation of legislative propositions on their improvement. The concepts of “state control over the banks activities”, “banking control”, “banking regulation” and “banking supervision” have been defined; and the author has carried out their theoretical delimitation, which made it possible to specify their purpose, tasks and to make a clear definition of their essence and to offer the appropriate legal consolidation in the current legislation.
