The object of investigation – the effectiveness and complication of chemotherapy (CT) in patients with lung cancer (LC); the purpose is to optimize the medical technology of chemotherapeutic treatment of LC, to develop prognostic criteria for the course of the tumor process and the results of integrated therapeutic measures; methods – clinical, instrumental (bronchoscopy, sonography, radiography, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging), biochemical, immuno-enzymatic, physico-chemical, statistical; novelty and results – for the first time the influence of CT capacity without and in combination with radiotherapy and the complications of the application of certain groups of chemotherapeutic drugs on the survival of patients with pulmonary embolism and the life expectancy of patients died, the role of violations of adsorption-rheological properties of blood in pathogenetic the construction of the oncological process, the value of the initial tumor markers, changes of surface-active, viscous, elastic and relaxation characteristics of blood serum in the development of clinical manifestations the nature of the disease and side effects of chemotherapy during treatment measures undertaken; suggested the most optimal approaches to CT patients with different variants of LC course, reliable criteria were determined that allow to predict the course of pathological process and the effectiveness of therapeutic measures; implemented in the practice of CHCI "City Interdistrict Cancer Dispensary in Mariupol", Clinical Hospital "City Oncology Clinic of Kramatorsk", CI "Zaporizhzhya Regional Clinical Oncology Center", CI "Melitopol Cancer Dispensary", and also in the pedagogical process of the Donetsk National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Lyman city); application area – the medical-diagnostic process of cancer, chemotherapeutic, radiological departments, scientific and pedagogical processes of the departments of oncology of medical educational institutions.
