Doiar E. Detention of a person in a criminal proceeding

In the dissertation on the basis of the study of legislation, literary sources, the results of the generalization of investigative and judicial practice, a comprehensive study was carried out on the institution of the detention of a person in a criminal proceeding. The historical and legal analysis of the formation and development of the detention institute in the criminal process is considered. The foreign experience of criminal procedural detention has been analyzed and his comparative legal research has been conducted. The procedural procedure for detaining a person in criminal proceedings was opened and the types of detention were investigated: detention on the basis of a decision of the investigating judge, court on the permission to detain him for the purpose of driving; legal detention; detention by an authorized official; the detention of a person who has committed a criminal offense outside Ukraine.
