Essay

The dissertation investigates structural and metabolic changes in the cerebral cortex of rats under hemorrhagic stroke and assesses the effectiveness of pathogenetic neuroprotective pharmaco-correction. The complex of pathogenetic factors (arterial hypertension, oxidative stress, lipid peroxidation, antioxidant system disorders) are determined, which influence the degree of brain damage and the effectiveness of neuroprotection in an experimental hemorrhagic stroke. Based on the results of electron microscopy, gel electrophoresis of DNA, taking into account hyperproduction of malonic dialdehyde and diene conjugates, the dominant role of necrosis in the development of neurodistrophic changes in the perifocal region of the brain with hemorrhagic stroke has been proved. The cytoprotective effect of molecules and preparations of various pharmacological groups - neurotrophic (BDNF), antioxidants (corvitin), antihypertensive (magnesium sulfate), diuretic agents (thorassemid), as means of direct and indirect action in relation to ischemic brain damage is estimated in the work. The peculiarities of the restorative process in the perifocal region of a hemorrhagic stroke, the role of hypertension and its pharmacological correction on recovery processes are investigated.
