Svyatenko G. Features of the geological structure and prospects of oil and gas bearing of Dnieper-Donets depression Mesozoic complex.

The thesis is devoted to the substantiation of Dnieper-Donets depression (DDD) Mesozoic complex oil and gas potential. Geological conditions of DDD and northwestern Donbass Mesozoic rocks bedding are determined. Significant influence of tectono-magmatic processes on formation of the region Mesozoic complex geological structure is established. Confirmation of the regional nature of the pre-Korenevka unconformity gaves evidence of Peresaj and Shebelinka subsuites of the Dronovka suite late Permian age. Regularities of origin and localization of Mesozoic hydrocarbon pools are established. A morphogenetic classification of the main types of oil and gas deposits is developed. Geological criteria for the prospects of the entire section of Triassic and Jurassic systems are grounded; lower part of Cretaceous system was first identified as perspective on oil and gas. In Mesozoic section main natural reservoirs are distinguished, within which favorable conditions exist for the accumulation of hydrocarbons; unified nomenclature of regional productive horizons is proposed (what now missing). Oil and gas geological zoning was carried out, prospects were determined and priorities for hydrocarbon exploration were determined. Geological models of a number of Mesozoic fields and perspective structures are constructed. Prospective resources of oil and gas are estimated. Commercial value of Mesozoic autochthonous gas pools in Shebelinka field is proved, which is consistent for conception of the possibility of the of commercial hydrocarbon deposits existence on local structures with disjunctively dislocated halogen screens, which significantly expands the geological prospect of Mesozoic complex's oil and gas potential. The industrial development of the Mesozoic horizons of the Shebelinka field was started. Taking into account the geological particularity of the of DDD Mesozoic deposits, a rational complex of geological and prospecting works is grounded: direct search, seismic survey, search and drilling using special techniques, a target well geophysics complex, testing and gas-hydrodynamic studies of the existing exploitation fund wells. Applying of technologically efficient methods of Mesozoic complex resources developing in a short time can provide a significant part of Ukraine's energy independence.
