Buntov I. State support for the development of biotechnology in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the scientific problem to improve the theoretical and methodological provision of state support for the development of biotechnologies in the Ukrainian economy. The essence of the concept of «biotechnology» has been improved by identifying their complex features. Theoretical positions on the role of biotechnologies in ensuring the development of the national economy have been developed. The methodical provisions concerning the formation of the mechanism of state support for the development of biotechnologies are proposed. The methodical approach to the selection and substantiation of the priority directions of biotechnology development in the Ukrainian economy is proposed, which involves the analysis and evaluation of scientific support for the development of biotechnology in Ukraine; analysis and evaluation of patenting of biotechnology development in Ukraine; generalization of results and substantiation of perspective directions of development of biotechnologies in Ukraine.
