Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the premixes recipes development which contain chelating complexes (glycine hydrates) of copper, zinc and manganese and to the effectiveness determination of their use in feeding cows of ukrainian black-and-white milk breed depending on the physiological period in the conditions of Forest-steppe of Ukraine. According to the regularities of complex changes in feed digestibility, the balance of mineral substances, milk productivity rate, colostrum and milk quality, reproductive functions and hematological blood count of animals, it's determined that the best option is to use premixes with chelates (glycine hydrates) trace elements in concentrations lower than norms of acid salts use in cows feeding: in lactation period – 25–30 % for Cu, 45–50 % for Zn, 65–70 % for Mn; in dry period – 50 % lower for Cu, Zn and Mn. The use of a new premix with effective doses of trace elements chelates in the composition of concentrated feed to compensate their deficit in lactating cows diet provides reduction in the cost of 100 kg of milk by 4,6 % and an increase in net profits by 17,3 %, while milk production profitability increases by 6,8 %.
