Faingold I. Administrative and Legal Provision of Control over Advocacy Activity in Ukraine

The thesis is focused on the comprehensive research of theoretical and practical problems of administrative and legal provision of control over advocacy activity in Ukraine. The peculiarities of control as one of the methods of ensuring legality within advocacy activity have been determined. The legal nature and features of advocacy activity as an object of control have been established. The author has revealed the tasks and principles of control over advocacy activity; the author has generalized its subjects, matter, boundaries and forms. The author has analyzed international experience of legal regulation of control over advocacy activity, has established the possibilities of its implementation in Ukraine. The system of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of control over advocacy activity has been revealed. The author has determined directions of improving administrative and legal principles of the implementation of control over advocacy activity in Ukraine.
