In dissertation on the monographic level investigates the theoretical and practical aspects of the investigation of pimping and the involvement of a person into prostitution. The essence of forensic characteristics of pimping and involvement of a person in prostitution, its constituent elements, filling, as well as establishing correlation relations between them is determined. A thorough analysis of the central element of forensic characteristics - a method of committing a crime. On the basis of systematic analysis of scientific views of scientists and generalization of operative, investigative and judicial practice, the situation and a traceable picture of the commission of pimping and the involvement of a person in prostitution through the description of their constituent parts are considered.
