Dovhun’ S. Administrative and legal principles of the activity of pre-trial investigation bodies (on the example of the national police of Ukraine)

The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of existing scientific approaches, legislation of Ukraine and the practice of its realization with the purpose of determining the administrative and legal principles of activity of pre-trial investigation bodies on the example of the National Police of Ukraine and their regulation, as well as finding ways of improvement. The work outlines the periodization of the emergence of a legal institution for the management of pre-trial investigation bodies, in particular, a number of conditional periods with distinctive features inherent to them are identified. The historical and legal approaches to the analysis of the administrative and legal bases of activity of the bodies of pre-trial investigation from the positions typical for the formation of Ukrainian law are revealed. An attempt was made to assess the current state of the institute of management of pre-trial police investigations.
