Nagurna Y. Risk factors for chronic intestinal diseases among the population of the Western region of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to questions of diagnostics and early detection of IBD among 20 000 population of agricultural and industrial regions of West Ukraine, due to the revealed and statistically significant risk factors for the development of these diseases. In the work the clinical picture of the course and risk factors of the development of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease, the condition of the mucous membrane of the colon with inflammatory lesions, the content of calprotectin in the exhaustion of patients, the effectiveness of the combination of questionnaires and laboratory diagnostic methods for the detection of Inflammatory Bowel Disease was studied in detail. It has been shown that 8 reliable risk factors should be evaluated for the detection of Irritable bowel syndrome and, if there are any four, to conduct a feline analysis of calprotectin. With a content of calprotectin greater than 50 μg / g with an accuracy of 97.1%, a positive outlook for the development of inflammatory bowel diseases can be established.
