The thesis summarizes the theoretical aspects of agricultural enterprises competitiveness and develops the scientific approaches to improve the efficiency of their competitive management. The conceptual positions for competitiveness management of agricultural enterprises were formulated; the mechanism to improve the efficiency of agricultural enterprises competitiveness management was developed. We improved the methodical approach to identify cause-and-effect relationships between the parameters of competitive profile of agricultural enterprises at the strategic and tactical levels. The methodical provisions to assess efficiency of agricultural enterprises competitiveness management was founded and developed; also the key factors to ensure agricultural enterprises competitive development was identified. We developed the methodical positions to define phases of agricultural enterprises lifecycle as a part of their competitive strategies forming; the methodical approach to the competitive strategies formation of agricultural enterprises was elaborated; the management tools for agricultural enterprises competitiveness management was improved on the basis of benchmarking.
