Yevtushenko V. Improving the competitiveness of cattle breeding products of agricultural enterprises

In the dissertation the evolution of theoretical views was presented, practical recommendations for improving the competitiveness of cattle breeding products of agricultural enterprises in the context of the process of European integration were developed. The essence of the concept of «product competitiveness» was specified in order to strengthen the theoretical basis of the researches. The system of interconnected factors, in which the competitiveness of cattle breeding production is formed, was found. The methodological approaches to its evaluation were improved. The evaluation of the current state of cattle breeding production in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine was conducted. The reasons for reducing the volumes of products receipt to the agrarian market were identified. The tendencies of the industry development were revealed. The competitiveness of cattle breeding products was estimated by means of the integrated indicator in terms of agricultural enterprises of the regions on the basis of the indicators system (annual productivity of animals, market share, growth rate of market share, full cost of 1 ton of products, selling price, quality of products). The dependence of competitiveness level of cattle breeding production on the productivity of animals, production concentration, natural and climatic conditions has been established. The basic indicators of cattle breeding production of agricultural enterprises for the future were determined and the recommendations for increasing the competitiveness of cattle breeding products based on the implementation of the innovation and investment model of agribusiness enterprises development were substantiated. The results of the researches obtained in the dissertation can be used as a component part of the scientific and methodological base when deciding on the development of the cattle breeding industry at different levels of economic management.
