Object of study: drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis; the goal – development of methods for forecasting and efficiency of the treatment of drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis in the process of intensive treatment depending on different genotypes of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis; methods of investigation: clinical, radiological, microbiological, genetic, statistical; novelty: for the first time in patients with drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis received data on the composition of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) population; the MBT genotypes of the Beijing family were found in 63,4 %; 51,7 % of them are strains with the profile 42425, which has the most aggressive properties; obtained scientific data on the changes in MBT genotypes during the intensive phase of treatment in 9,5 % of patients with drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis; the dependence of the dynamics of clinical and laboratory parameters on the genotype of MBT in patients with drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis is established, when the Beijing genotype is detected, the disease is more severe; justified the expediency of VNTR-genotyping in order to identify the genotypes of the MTB, this has implications for prognosis of the disease and treatment effectiveness.
