Bondarenko V. Investigation of crimes associated with destruction, counterfeiting or substitution of vehicle details numbers and aggregates

This dissertation is concerning on theoretical regulations and recommendations on investigation of crimes associated with destruction, counterfeiting or substitution of vehicle detailsnumbers and aggregates. Based on elements of criminalistics characteristic of such category of crimes circumstances to be proved are disclosed. Typical investigative situations and versions of initial phase of investigation, peculiarities of investigators, operative, other National Police of Ukraine units and forensic services interaction in case of revelation of the vehicle with vestiges of destruction, counterfeiting or substitution of its details numbers and aggregates are defined. Recommendations on organisation and tactics of vehicle search, witnesses and suspects interrogation as well as using of special knowledge are given.
