Oleshchenko H. The role of ultrasonoscopy in early detection of pleural fluid of tuberculate and another genesis

Object of study: pleural effusion of tuberculous and non-specific genesis; the aim - to study the role of ultrasonoscopy in the early detection of diseases of the pleura of tuberculous and other genesis on the basis of comparative analysis of its results with data of radiography of the chest and thoracoscopy; methods of investigation: clinical, radiation (X-ray and ultrasonoscopy), endoscopic, morphological and statistical; the novelty: scientific data on the influence of ultrasonoscopic research on the timeliness of the establishment of pleural effusion and pleural disease, which shortens the diagnostic period by an average of 3-4 weeks, is specified; new scientific data on the influence of ultrasonoscopy on the timeliness of further special (thoracoscopic and morphological) examinations in patients with suspected pleural disease were obtained; it was determined that conduction of ultrasonoscopic study along with X-ray allows to improve informative results of thoracoscopy and morphological research by 9,2 %; it was determined that in patients with tuberculous pleurisy, examined using the developed algorithm, improvement of direct results of treatment and reduction of residual changes in the remote period.
