Essay

The object of the research is the problem of national sovereignty in the political and macrohistorical perspective. The subject of the study is the specific features of the process of formation, dissemination and transformation of national sovereignty in Neo-Weberian theories of the state. The dissertation is devoted to the consideration of the process of formation and transformation of national sovereignty and related state institutions in the framework of the theoretical approach proposed by Neo-Weberian theories of the state. In the dissertation the historical approach, non-institutional methodology, structural-functional approach, theory of rational choice were used. In the dissertation the tendency of weakening rational-bureaucratic logic of functioning of the states of the modern type was revealed. It is proposed to consider the Ukrainian political regime as a forward-looking model of development in the context of the transformation of modern state institutions. Informal political practices in Ukraine are determined.
